Neal Schon never fails to inspire me...

Im sure that his time was up either way. With that said, he seems to be very busy these days but he said in an interview that the Journey gig didn't help his fanbase much

I remember seeing Journey on TV when I was just starting to play guitar in the late 70s. I want to say it was Soundstage on PBS. Anyway, I was banging around on guitar thinking I wanted to be a singer and Neal Schon woke me up to what a guitar could really do. It really was the moment I began taking it more seriously. The guitar has provided a great living and a great life for me for the last 20+ years so there is certainly a huge place in my heart for NS.

I love the new CD, love the new singer, Schon owns and Journey still rocks!!! :rock:
 
No doubt man........Schon is near the top of anyone I've ever seen....hmm Schenker, Rhoads, Trower, Malmsteen, Gilbert, EJ, Rory Gallagher, Vinnie Moore........he is right there amazing.....and I don't even consider myself a Journey fan.......he kicked my ass when i saw him... :rock:
