Did he list his grooming tools for that perfect manscaped beach body and bikini lines?

Is he preserving his pedal board and pedals like he preserves his skin and tan lines??

Has to be the worst sound I ever heard him use
Really? I think the audio feed couldn't handle the volume and was farting out. When it cleaned up I thought it was quite nice. Although he is a monster player, I'm not fanatical about Neal or Journey.

Saw him live last two tours, wasn't real impressed. Neil Geraldo w/Pat Benetar owned him like a rented mule recently, and Brad from Night Ranger did the same in 2010. Not only was his tone pretty generic, but he did the Schon Formula Solo each time - really fast picked flurries alternated with soulful melodic passages. NOTHING in between. It was like listening to someone alternately possessed by Yngwie and then Leslie West of Mountain. very boring after awhile.

That's what I like about players like Vai or Ron Jarzombek; they actually write parts that tell a bit more of a story.

In all fairness, he IS getting a little "long in the tooth" at this point. His skills are going to start to dwindle.......

I think he still has his skills, but everything he plays comes at you like a machine gun. The tone on this sucks. He's going thru so much bullshit. That's not his old live tone in Journey. It's a big mess, IMO

haha i figured you guys would get a kick out of this. Not the biggest journey fan but i thought i'd share anyways.

No shit about the disaster part. They pulled his face back tight.

Dirks should have asked him who his plastic surgeon is.  Same as Joan Rivers' likely

Late 70's Journey was the best. Right around Frontiers they got too polished sounding.

i was thinking it was pretty overwashed with effects, but the worst i've heard from him was with soul sirkus live...that diezel rig he ised that night was BURIED with reverb and delay
