Not THAT kinda rack ya pervs

I've got a Gator 10U rack. I'm thinking I need to add 2 Voodoo Lab GCX units, plus 2 drawers that can hold the height and girth of about 16 stomps.

Rack 'em all, let MIDI sort 'em out. (I loved this saying from a fellow forumite!)

This is my new angle, and sure as shit, I'll keep my wah up front along with some other goods, but I'm thinking of keeping this off the floor now. I also have the Lehle S-Go-S and want to be able to utilize the GCXs with this splitter to work two amps in stereo. Whatever, my problem, but I'm thinking this might be a better angle to take.

Whatever - who makes solid racks of good quality for a good price?? 18U in size give or take.

Thanks Cats

When I go for a shock mount rack, I spend the $$ for anvil.

I am sure there are cheaper alternatives, but anvil has never let me down. I have taken my cases all over the country, some have traveled the world, and they are still with me.

I would love to see your set-up when it's complete. Have fun!

Ask Brad about Racks. Here is the one he sent me last week. Shock mount 18 space Waiting on my Axe 2 and L6 wireless :D

I use Road Ready cases for my guitar rig and EQ/effects rack for the PA. They are definitely not top-of-the-line, but they are solid and reasonably priced. No complaints so far.

You might also take a look at EWI and see what you think. I've never owned one (found them doing a search...), but they have an 18U heavy-duty shock case with casters for $320... Looks good from the web info...

You're like a shark in the water and you can just smell the blood when some one wants to spend a little money

Curious to see what you come up with rack wise. I am fighting this currently as my back is getting tired of slinging the Pedal train over my shoulder at the end of the night. I am pretty happy with what I have for a rig, but ease of setup and tear down is starting to look really attractive. If I got something large enough to put a 2spc drawer in for cable storage/parts I would be in heaven!

Thanks Guys!! Thanks as well for the PM Sir King

Ya, this may be the project of 2012... Who knows. But it seems like a cleaner route to go perhaps... Whatever, need coffee.
