Hello,
I just purchased the Torpedo Professional Loadbox rack mount unit and like it quite a bit.
I bought it so I can crank my 100w heads into it so as not to kill everyone when I want to jam.
So it works exactly as intended.
What drew me to this unit was a few videos I heard where these guys are getting killer Metal sound.
But what most videos lack is detail on what they are using between guitar and amp.Sort of sucks they always seem to leave out the most important details.
So for me to expect to get that same sound was not expected.
However,would like to know if anyone knows what some of these guys are using for distortion...etc. This is just bad ass sound for example -

I have tried several distortions and although I get some good sound,nothing like this guy does.
Also,is there an interface that is used to record to computer rather than connecting the line out to the MIC input of my computer that will make a huge difference?
These are 2 questions I would like answered if anyone can help.
