The local music mart has a 2000 model Les Paul Standard Gold Top in excellent condition.
They are asking $1200.00 with case out the door. The guitar is stock in regards to pickups,
hardware and such. Just been out of Pauls for a while, and was wondering if this is a decent
deal or not.

Thanks,

Scott

That's an ok price. I would offer $1900 out the door.
You can buy a custom shop historic goldtop reissue for $2499 all day long.

It is a 2000 year model, and they are asking $1200.00

He meant $900 and it's a good deal if the guitar is correct.

I want to live where you do if you can get an excellent condition, Les Paul Standard for $900.

I doubt they will go $900.00. May be able to get it for $1000.00- $1100.00.

i would say thats still a good price ,if its in good condition..from what ive seen as of late ..using flee bay as a reference.. no one is bidding or buying standards and such for more than the 1300-1500 range anything higher than that and no one is even bidding, so id say at 1100-1200 .if it plays good for ya

Went and looked at it again, and unfortunately it is a fake.

Too many things just didn't add up, and after a few internet searches, it is indeed fake.

Too bad, it actually plays pretty decent. However, I will not give much for a fake Gibson.

Regards,

Scott
