I have them in a couple guitars...I love em! Warm balanced and not overly hot with nice harmonics. I don't get an EVH vibe out of them ( which is somewhat thin, bright and singlecoil like in my opinion) but I get a warm 80's rock vibe like Ratt, Dokken etc. I like it as much as any stock duncan or dimarzio in the right guitar! A tremendous deal and doesnt sound cheap at all...killer in basswood...
