I'm the second owner of my Hot Rod Deluxe. The last owner put a chicken-head knob on wrong for the reverb. I wanted to take it off and put it on right so the knob lines up with the number on the amp correctly. Idiot me did not think about tiny screws holding the knobs on to the pot switch. So, I managed to break the reverb control. The amp still plays but the reverb is all the way up on the amp. I finally took the knob off the right way in hopes of a fix, but to no avail.

I'm wondering if it might just be the pot itself. The circuit board doesn't look cracked, but I'm not sure. Like I said, the amp still plays fine. How much would it cost me to get the pot replaced?

You probably damaged the pot by pulling to hard on the shaft...

If you don't feel comfortable working around high voltages or soldering on a PCB take it to a tech. Should just be a straight pot replacement. Pots go from $4-$15 depending in which type and markup. Expect a half hour to hour labor, maybe more.
