I need help, from someone who knows the Axe-FX Ultra and Axe-II programming better than I.
I'm 11 songs into an album and had to sell my Ultra to pay the credit card bill, but am trying to match the tone I'm using to the Axe-II as best I can, so I can ship the Ultra out early next week.
I've gone and matched up as many of the settings as I could, but the Ultra sounds tighter and brighter, while the Axe II sounds fuller, warmer, and looser, using the same type of settings. I need to get them closer matched.
If anyone else out there has an Axe-FX Ultra and an Axe II, please check out these patches
