hey fellas,
I am going to get a tc d two or lexicon pcm41. what are pros and cons of these? which sounds better do you think? a guy is selling a d two, and a pcm 41 and 42, but he is asking 650 for the pcm42, out of my price range. both the d two and cm sound good so what do you guys thing, I have no experience with either of these units???
thanks!!!

With the d-two you cannot set the actual returned delayed signal levels - they are permanently set in the algorithms. So the repeated values you have no control over. You do have control over the tap tempo and can do odd rhythmic tapping from what i remember, but no further level control of the repeats themselves.

The PCM series has a low memory capacity and therefore cannot do long delay times. It was not uncommon back in the 80's for two or more to be used back to back to get more delay periods needed.
