Looking for a speaker for a 1x12 cab that's 100 watts or more. Looking for that wattage because I might be using a 100 watt Super Lead with a Hot Plate. I'm looking something voiced similar to a Greenback. TIA!

My favorite 100+ speaker is the Eminence Legend 121. Not quite like a Greenback though. Maybe check out the Weber Ceramic Silver Bell in 100 watts. I had a lower powered one and it had a similar Greenback vibe.

Not the same as the greenback but from those that have used it I keep hearing how true the frequency band is to the amp being used. I would think with a Super Lead it might be worth giving it a go. http://celestion.com/product/19/g12k100/ Compare it with the GB frequency response knowing that it is only part of the story. I think the pickings are very few with your criteria. Good luck!

Hello currently retired from the eminence speaker line SUPER V, meet DSTROUD! Fane-Greenback-V30 mixed into one. With a superlead opened up on a hotplate you might get a bit of flub and that is where a tighter speaker comes into play. Besides that, anything eminence because they seem to make really high powered speakers that still breakup nicely.

I agree! I use the Super V from Eminence too. In a Seismic cab. Best money I ever spent.

High powered speakers with a British voicing?

From the Dynamo amps demo I'd say

Jensen Jet Electric Lightning- 100w

Fane Medusa- 150w

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the 100 watt options from Scumback. Are they not very greenback like?

I was just getting ready to suggest just that. I have a 100 watt M75 in a 1X12 that I use. Sounds pretty good to me.
