Until this day..

Between weird wood choices, awkward feeling fret boards, painted necks and maybe some setup issues, they've just never felt quite right to me. But this one.. Once I got ahold of it in the shop I couldn't bring myself to put it down. My lady took notice and shot me that look- like, "No way in hell, buddy."

Well that day, she doubled back to the shop, tracked it down and bought it for me as an early christmas present. How cool is that?!

She's purrrdy! Congrats.

I had a Studio Lite from 94 I think it was... Sounded great but didn't play all that well up the neck.

Nice....ive had more than a few studio's over the years. It's hit and miss with those, just like many other guitars, but when you find a good Les Paul they are hard to beat. Congrats

I recently sold a cherry Studio that I liked quite a bit. After getting my Axcess though, I realized it wasn't going to be in the line up anymore, so I sold it to buy something else.

Very cool, cool of your lady too! I have a 60's worn Studio w/P90s and that thing rips too

Dig my 60's tribute.

Yeah, very cool in a minimalist sort of way. Mine is very light and resonates like a mother. Put a Kinman P90 in the bridge (to silence the noise) and it just kills, different than all of my other guitars and I really dig it for bashing away on lower/medium gain settings....

A good studio is hard to beat. I had a 92 model with an ebony board that I picked up of craigslist. One of the best LPs ive had period. That guitar now has me gassing for another ebony board LP; felt great!

I have a 1988 that has an ebony board, Maple neck and is heavy as hell. It is an incredible guitar. Before i got (this I like you) I never played a studio that I could bond with. Great looking guitar you got there.

I find 1 or 2 LP's I like out of every 10 I try.
With ESP I find maybe 1 that's a bit off for every 10 I try.

I want an LP Standard, but Gibson simply can not justify how much they charge for their lack of quality.

I'm still deciding between an LP Standard or ESP Eclipse II or Elite Eclipse I.

Yeah, I saw a few of those in the lineup as well. Very cool, and they have me contemplating a P94, for sure!

grats =) you married her yet? awesome move on her part

Thank ya!

We've been dating a little over 4 years and we have the ring picked out :)

Nothing to do with the Name, but the Bonamassa Studio really impressed me when I played one.

I miss my 95 lp studio, great guitar. It was light too, which would be nice to have with my current back issues.
