New amp From Kyle Rhodes.

Hey there all,

Kyle will be showing a new amp ( ORTHOS ) that we have been working together on since about August of this year at Namm . This is a two channel amp with all kind of goodies, a straight up fire breather that will be easy to dial in with no midi. This amp is loaded with 6l6's and will level the house' :D

This amp is priced so that all guitarist can afford it.

I will let Kyle tell you all more about the amp and it's functions and pic's

He just put pictures up on the Rhodes Amplification Facebook site. Looks awesome.
 
The one that is at Namm is Mine boys and girls :D . It is the proto for the new line.
 
I've been looking forward to this for a while -- affordable Rhodes.

Look at the front panel, then the description simplified. Funny, but I'm glad he kept all the tone tweaking tools.

Just need a demo before I purchase.
 
Orthos looks pretty badass. I couldn't tell exactly from the photos but it seems like the DIP switches on the back controls the voicing options that were done with MIDI on the Gemini.

Edit: Oops, the DIP switches are actually for the front grill LED color selection per channel.

Yeah I contacted him and asked him if we could do a two channel amp with some nice features at an affordable price and just like a rocket it took from there. I bet we have sent a 200 emails and some texts and a few long phone calls.

Kyle is one of the best guys you could ever want to talk to.

Oh man, I slept for a day after returning. So wiped out!!

I'll post pics and more info later today, once I get the product page finished. :)
 
Damn, Can't find anything on Youtube yet. Where are all the Rhode's boothers with the video cams?

Randall has enough publicity I want to hear some Rhodes!!!!! :)

JK.... but yes, seriously, Clips please. Affordable Rhodes sounds appealing.
 
That amp rocks, just like each and every one of Kyle's babies.

Man, that Orthos sounds great! What are the tonal differences between the Orthos and the Gemini?
 
Lol. Not a testament to acacias fretjobs, but the amp sounds good. I'd love to hear it with passives.

Kyle can answer that in detail, but it goes for less than the Gemini, so now you've got a Rhodes amp for everyone. :thumbsup:
