So I've been looking around for a new amp and thought I would get some opinions. I'm just looking for a head with good overdrive and great cleans. Let me know what you guys think.

Be more specific :gethim: . Price range? What kind of music do you play?

Rebel 30 has stellar cleans and a good drive in a smaller affordable package

I play a lot of music mainly at my church but more along the mild rock genre. I also have a band and we play stuff from the 80s-current. I'm trying to find something I can save up for so price isn't really that big a factor.

Egnater Mod50. Then just pick what flavors you want for modules. Probably a VX and an SL2 for Church based playing, which is my situation too.

cool. I guess you have to decide on if you want a channel switcher, or something with a good clean platform for pedals. Something like a Vox would be good for what you want adding pedals to taste. Or the Mod 50 idea is another great one in a channel switcher basically giving you 4 channels. Really there is a ton of great amps out there that will work for what you want.

I'd also look into a Mesa Lonestar, awesome cleans and nice OD, half power switch, they can be had reatively cheap used.

A Bogner Shiva would do the trick, although they are a bit pricey compared to other suggestions in this thread.

Fortin MeatHead

Cameron CCV

Diezel VH4

how about a clean channel preamp similar to a vox ac30 top boost, and a crunch channel like your standard marshall cover everything type thing, also take pedals very well, and a footswitchable lead so you can pull off a killer Lincoln Brewster lick?
