Hey guys, the band just invested in a whole new rig and thought some of y'all would like to check it out!

We recently dumped our dual recs for an Axe Fx Ultra and Standard (soon trading in for another Ultra). We're using this setup to run 2 guitars, bass, and stage vocals straight through the venues PA. We're then using the Art SLA 2 and SVT-3 Pro as poweramps for our Mesa 4x12 recto cabs and svt cab for onstage monitoring. We achieve this by splitting the signal in the Axe so left outputs go direct with cab simulators on and right outputs go to poweramps with cab simulators off.

The Horizon passive DI Rack makes things easier as we don't have to go searching for 4 DI boxes when it's time to play live. We store 2 Line 6 G30s in the wireless drawer along with a Sennheiser and a Boss TU-2 for the Bass.

All patches and effects are controlled by a FCB1010 midi board.

Any questions feel free to ask!

i also have some good cases which is fit for my tools and kit...

How does the bass sound through the Axe-Fx, compared to just going through the SVT3pro? I have an ampeg SVT3pro and always wanted an Axe-Fx, but was a bit dissappointed in the lack of bass amps modeled in the Axe-Fx.

Saw this over at SS, i think it is insane your entire band can play through this

now if only a product would come out to get drummers to keep their kits clean for shows we would be in business

The Ultra has a lot more bass amp options than the Standard does. We've played one medium sized venue with it so far and it sounded brutal! Just get your drive, compressor, amp tone and 8x10 simulator going and you're good to go.

To glpg80, funny you should mention that. Our drummer is in the process of buying mics for all his drums and setting up a mixing software program on his laptop so we can have the most control over his kit as possible before sending it to the board.

Very cool! Never attempted this but I always thought of the possibility. What's cool about this rig, you know what you'll sound like every night. Doesn't get much more reliable than this. No need to worry about your amp having a "bad day" or tubes that may be ready to let go. Congrats on the rig and welcome to RT!

Looks awesome as I'm sure it sounds awesome.......win!
