Oh man, I've been checking out cabs and Rob over at Tone Merchants turned me on to these bad boys. I love the tone of the cabs, front loaded straights with a criss cross of V30/G75, 16 ohms. Very fat and warm. Zero fizz! A really nice compliment to my Scumback 1969 Spec cab. The Scumback is a little toothier sounding, the Bogner a little warmer. I start some new records and really want to take my guitar sound to new levels. Thanks to Rob @ TM and Jim @ Bogner.

A buddy of mine bought one of these a few months ago but it doesn't have the corner protectors. Are those a new addition?

Congrats. I just fell back in love with the 75/V30 X pattern. Something really great about that mix. It just works in a band setting especially.

Wow, I wish mine were red. May I see a pic of the back please ?

good call.

the first time i heard the uberkab v30/75 x pattern was at the 2001 shootout when R.Bogner demoed them with the uberschall, when they were fresh off the presses. stunningly huge.
i was already planning to get the 4x12ST with V30s for my egnater head, but after hearing the 30/75 cross, and knowing my eggie TOL 100 loved 75s, it was a no brainer. warm, flutey, and also alive and stringy. but after getting the mojave peacemaker i wanted something different so i puled one V30 and added a gh30, then pulled one 75 and added a greenback. 4 different celestions!
my final move will be pulling the last 75 and adding the scumback i recently bought.

i just received an avatar 4x12 loaded with gh30s (i think) that i'm babysitting for a friend indefinitely. interested to hear the combination with my boggie!

Here's the pics of the back I promised:

I brought the Ceriatone Plexi in and cranked it, I really like the Bogners on this too, they are a little darker then the Marshall and it let's me open the amp up more without it getting harsh. Really great:
