I'm not sure how many of you are into Caparison guitars, but there's been a lot of talk over the years amongst the fans and artists for a fixed bridge Horus. FINALLY they released one! They also revamped the Dellinger line with a more cost effective 6 and a 7.

So incredibly stoked about these new models...

Maple body, ash top, ebony board, Hipshot bridge with steel saddles. Could be really bright, especially on the 25.5 scale Dellinger 7. But I've liked the Caparisons that I've played, so I assume they know what they're doing.

I'm not at all a fan of their inlays, so I'm really diggin this look.

I was wondering why the bridge pickup is positioned so far away from the bridge. And I think you may have just put my curiosity to rest. Looks like they are compensating by moving the bridge pickup toward the neck? But it looks too weird for my tastes.

I think if you had a Floyd Rose on there, the spacing would look right. I think it looks far away mostly because of that bridge.

Apparently $1999 USD street for the six strings.

Yup, $1999 on the new FX-AM 6 string models and $2329 on the FX-am 7 string models at US dealers. The bridge placement looks a little strange on them, but I'd imagine Itaru knows what he's doing. All sorts of excited about these ;)

That mix of tonewoods sounds undesirable to me, but you simply never know until you play one...too many other variables that make up the entire tone equation.

I've always wanted to try a Caparison and the Horus what the one I wanted since its a Super Strat in 24 3/4 scale.
I'm getting the black one....who has them in stock?

I'm guessing the Music Zoo or Destroy all guitars will have them in stock shortly. Could likely pre-order them to get one right away. I know Musiclandkey has them in stock already in Japan, so I think they're only like 7-10 day lead time to the dealer
