thanks! guitars are a fender standard strat for rhythms and a blacktop strat with a Floyd for solos. amps are a Peavey 6505 mini boosed wih a tubescreamer into a marshall 4 x 12 w/greenbacks. solos are a Blankenship 50 watt plexi boosted with a Boss SD-1 in to the same cab.

I dig it too! Vocalist did a great job. Are those real drums too? They almost sound vintage and not over processed like so much of the genre is today. If not.. very convincing!

thanks man! yeah real drums. I did mix a sample with the acoustic kick and snare. we got hooked up with a really nice studio in L.A. with some killer vintage gear that we used to record the drums. I did the vox, guitars, bass, keys and mixed/mastered at my home.

There is just something about real drums, or at the very least, a human playing an E- kit that brings a song to life. Naturally the swing or change in tempo here or there and the rest of the instruments playing to that just make music more alive. Even humanizing drum programs has it's limits and makes timing mistakes in the guitars stick out too

I hear you man, I use ezdrummer2 for demos/writing and it sounds awesome but I often feel that there is just a bit of magic missing from what's going on. Real drums pull it together imo
