New Celestions and a loaner BE-OD!

First order of business, the BE-OD. A friend on another forum was cool enough to send this out for me to check out. I already want one and I have not even plugged it in yet!




Now for the other box...es




Traded that Scumback M75 I acquired in trade for the 2 Celestions. The Scumback has just sat for months in the box it shipped in and I got ZERO offers on it cash-wise except REALLY low offers like $50! Heck no! Dude offered me these so I said, why not.









Both speakers appear pretty damn minty. Both are 8ohms so I suppose in a 2x12 they need to be wired parallel for 8ohm total? Is that right? May sell one, or both. Not sure yet. Will probably sell the H30 and put the V40 in a 1x12 cab for the Jet City. I have heard that these 2 might sound great together in a 2x12 though.

Gotcha. So if my other 2x12's are 16ohm, then wire this guy in series then use 8ohm selector on my amp?

Nice! H30 and V30 do mix very well. Yep, wire in series for 16 ohm load. If your amp doesn't have a 16 ohm tap then 8 should still be safe.
