I personally think the Einstein needs a boost in front of it to sound real good for tones like that. It's too "pretty" sounding without one IMO.

+1

Polite is the word I was thinking. I know what you mean though.

well C# is really fat tuning and hard on the amps because it's using a lot of low mids. I tried my best to make it sound as cleas as I could without making it sound harsh. I've been doing it for a few hours so my ears are a bit tired. If you guys think it needs more bite let me know and I'll play with the EQ a bit.

I like it so far

thank you for the replies, keep em coming :)

oh and we all know the Einstein's no Vh4 hehe, but I think it sounds good too, it's not extra tight and mean, but it's very greasy if you know what I mean, and I like that too.

What do you mean by "hard on the amp?"

oh I mean as in playing in low tunnings the notes don't have the same definition as regular tuning you know, I wasn't talking about the Einstein perse, but any amp. low tunings sound less defined as regular tuning to my ears. :)

but again, we're totally clean the Einstein is not really strong when it comes to brootal metal, but I think it does a fine job as a hard rock/metal amp

Yeah, a lot of amps sound terrible in low tunings IMO. Certain ones, like the 5150, sound better in lower tunings though. At least to me.

Maybe try less mids. I'm not hearing that much bottom end, just a lot of mid.

yeah I gotta record the Bass still. I don't want to get into Bass freq. territory with the guitars, specially in such a low tuning
