i was out of town last 10 days on a shoot and missed doyle playing at our church this weekend

..but...
he left me a copy of his new/unreleased cd, which has guest solos from old EJ himslef and phil keaggy.

ej basically solos the whole song long.

and i can't share.

which is a shame.

because it owns.

:D

Dude...that sucks for us. When's his new cd coming out?

I saw him at Saddleback church a couple of summers ago. His acoustic tone through that signature Rivera kills...you GOTTA hear it in person! He's an incredible player.

I've seen him 4 times, he is absolutly jaw- dropping! really nice guy too. His technique is so cool, it really inspires you to go practice, and get outside the stuff your used to. His daughter is really good too! Can't imagine seeing him with EJ, I'll bet that was a spine tingler!! Gonna see Phil Keaggy at Huntingdon college in 2 weeks!

the cd is done, so i think he's just waiting for delivery of the actual packaged disc which he didn't have at the time.

he'll be back for our easter service, and the pastor wants him to invite eric johnson to jam with him

doyle can go off and his chord melodies are so beautiful and sophisticated it's crazy.
