Oh wow.... I could pay $5k for the same specs as an LTD that cost $1k. And still not be able to move the volume knob out of the way...

100% agreed lololol

Have you seen Esp Alexi with buzzsaw headstock? That one was so cool!

yea dude, i love the look of alexi guitars but i have a super hard time playing the rhoads style shape cause i pretty much only play sitting

i know some people find it an easy shape to play but not for me unfortunately...plus i'm out of the custom shop guitar business now lol

I can’t even find the pictures of those. Used to be sold at GC Platinum page. That white marble one.

I wonder why they went extinct.

who knows, esp seems to be very good at making decisions that make no sense lol

Yeah but then you’d have an LTD…

I remember them having more finish options before they had taken it down briefly and brought it back up recently. Too bad the prices aren't what they used to be...still have some cool finishes. There's always the old Montag editor for LP shapes if you get bored haha:

Bad decisions? You mean like removing the ESP name from the standard series, having them likely made outside of Japan but claiming "made in Japan" and rebranding them as E-II for the west? In the same set up and inspection lines as Edwards and Grassroots? All for $2500?

I love V's but the ESP arrow design doesn't work for me. I dislike unsymmetrical V's.

I like the Rhoads V shape, but the Warrior shape is more comfortable IMO, with more seating position options. I wish Jackson would make a thinner body for both, but that would likely cause neck dive.

I really want one of those Mirage Deluxe '87 reissues.. But I just hate the look of LTD on the headstock. Such a waste.
Same. At this stage of my gear buying career, I just won’t buy an LTD. They’re fine guitars but can’t do it.
