So i got a used jvm410h a month or so ago, and the footswitch is iffy. The #2 switch is acting up. I was gonna just buy a new footswitch, but was thinking, at $129, i might as well maybe just go ahead and get a voodoo labs ground controll pro. Since i plan on getting more pedals and.putting together a pedalboard - it might make more sense to just get the GCP. what say you rig talk?

the midi implementation is awesome on the jvm, i'd probably look at some kind of midi switch too

had a cheapo midi controller with a rack unit in the fx loop, worked great

might be an idea to get one of those bypass loopers with midi control , if you're going to use pedals up front and or in the fx loop

something like this:

or the musicom i think , although the price point is a bit higher

more flexible than a simple midi controller, and can get some cool things setup,

Yeah i dunno. Didnt really wanna spend a thousand dollars on a footswitch lol... I don't guess you can switch modes with any of these midi switches? Just set them.up for patches?

you can set it for modes , e.g od1 - orange - reverb off - master 2 -- > midi program 2 , which is activated by button 2 on your floor controller

or crunch - green - reverb on - master 1 - > midi program 1 -

super easy to setup, with everything connected, you first set the amp / mode / settings , then i think there's a midi learn switch, you press it, it starts to flash, then you hit the button on your midi controller you want to use to select it

hey presto =0

Hey presto  lol

Rocktron all access looks good but damn - 950?

the behringer fcb1010 is super cheap, get's the job done, it is huuuge however , unfortunately anything with midi functionality usually has a price tag to match , i had a yamaha mfc-10 , fairly cheap used and get's the job done, maybe an older roland fc midi controller or boss fc-50 , or anyone of those oldschool midi controllers

might have more luck with a second hand ground control pro, size is probably the main issue you'll have to deal with

Im not really worried about size lol. 400 seems ok for a gcp, but 950 seems a little steep ya know?

Why not fix the switch?

Because then i'd have to.go.to.the trouble of tracking down the correct replacement switch and soldering it in...lol...
Looks like someone tried to. The #2 switch is different from all.the others and switches modes too fast - you have to barely tap it. I.dunno - i figured i might as well.go ahead and look into midi since i'll prolly put a pedalboard togwther and possibly get a rack effects unit anyways
