New Fortin Modded Marshall - Soon.....

Super-stoked here. Mike and I have been talking about this and it has been on the back burner for some time while he got the Meatheads and Natas prototype ready for production. Its made from a 77 JMP 2203 pretty much gutted and the circuitry laid out from scratch.

It's gonna be killer and the best thing, no Jose mods in sight. Will have some structured switching capabilities but still a single channel amp. Sent him up a new Red Bronco tolex Marshall shell to package it in. We have Jason's orange Evil Pumpkin already. Mine is going to be called -

Was supposed to have it today but it got held up in customs one extra day. I'll have it Monday, though. Can't wait.

Sounds like you're doing good despite you're Mesa's not selling. I wish I could take that Mark IV off of your hands. I'd have to trade the Rectifer, and I'm sure you don't want it. Best recto I've played though. I like it better than the "holy trial" models, the racto, the Road King/Roadster, 2010, ect. Just time for a change.

Can you describe the mods being done?

The Mesa's were sort of packed away anyway. Thought it would be cool to keep the Trifecta. The IIC+ is sold. The III is not much of a bother, and I won't mind keeping the IV. Got a Recto that needs a new home though!

Not going to release the mods just yet. The chassis and trannies were about the only thing used though and Mike dipped into the private stash of components.

is the most satisfying high gain amp I've come across
to this point in my journeys.
Truely a masterpiece.
Great idea having him gut it and murder it out.
This is the way to go with Fortin IMHO.
Have him murder it.
