The New Friedman and Metro 2203 modded to Naked Amp Specs demo, I start with the Naked on the right and switch back between the two. I didn't get the amps volumes set just right as the Friedman sounds lower or could have been the placement of the Zoom Q3HD. The Naked has more bottom end and punch, darker, smoother amp. It's seems every time I make one of these videos I forget how to play and just play random stuff, please excuse my playing. The amps sound a lot bigger than the videos lets, I wish I could get the zoom thing to show that better. Also, when I walk up to the Friedman I am enabling the FX loop on the Friedman that has an El Capistan in the loop. Guitar is a PRS SC245, Bogner cab V30's, and Friedman cab Scumback M75 and J75

The Naked is this video started as a Metro 2203 built by Metropoulos Amps, I then sent it to Dave for mods. When it came back I replaced the original Filtering with F&T to Naked specs. This modded amp is probably pretty close if not exactly like the Naked.

The Friedman is the HBE channel with Sat on

All settings O'clock

Naked settings: volume 10, gain max, rest of setting around 1 o'clock
Friedman settings: volume 11:30, gain 2, rest of setting around 12-1 o'clock

This video doesn't do these amps justice so please take the recording and my playing into consideration.

Great idea for a video buddy!
Hearing this video again makes me grateful for my naked amp purchase, I was really debating the two but am so stoked on my naked choice. Best amp I have ever owned or played period.

I guess the room is difficult for recording from a distance as you do. It's too narrow.

Still great vid. Awesome amps! Friedman for me ....

The room opens up much larger, it just worked out that two 4x12 fit in that spot. It's only that size for about 4 ft then opens up into a 12x12 room. I may try again with a different location.

I touched myself and came

Friedman for me, the scumbacks also.

The gain settings on the Marsha are way too high, (HBE+ Sat with gain at 2:00) the tone is squshed thin and compressed. The Marsha is best on the BE channel with the gain at about 2:00 for a demo. The volume difference in the two amps is not comparable.

Very cool you posted this, Brett.

The other guitarist in my cover band just bought a Naked and a Friedman from Dave. He's A/B-ing them during rehearsals to see which one he wants to keep.

Cool demo, thanks. I love the Naked! Maybe it's the Bogner cab too...
