BKP's sound more like a tooth hitting the floor at a british dentist's office when you pluck a note. Definitely not neo soul material. Phat clean tones are necessary to support the structure around the lattice otherwise the whole crystal will shatter beneath it's own weight.

Well, they can get as heavy as you want, as long as you don't attempt to play anything beyond Robben Ford covers through them.
