Picked it up about a month ago, and swapped out the pickups last week. Turned out to look pretty cool.

It's something like that. He has thing x which he pairs with thing y and that levels his mids or something. Actually it isn't. It has less mids than most dimarzios. The guitar has some mids to it. My other axe has the same pickups and sounds totally different. It is because these are direct mount to maple strip, and not mahogany.
