I took a chance and bought a used Anderson from a GC in Florida. Shipped it to my local guitar Center and the thing is awesome. I've never been a FLoyd guy but I appreciate picking up and NEVER tuning it.

Also I picked up a Les Paul Traditional but quickly wound up not liking the neck. Shopped around for another LP but found a PRS Stripped 58 and instantly liked it a lot. Very comfortable and after a little tweak it plays without much effort and it actually stays in tune. Someone always says these don't sound like LP's, but the last couple LP's I had didn't sound anything like eachother either.

And for amps..went back and fourth on a few things but grabbed an Axe-Fx2. I have some decent patches into my KRK monitors but I'm looking at power amps now. I was going to get a Mesa 2:90 but now I'm leaning Matrix due to weight, not tubes, cheaper, a1 space, and it let's the Axe use it's power amp settings more. The thing is, with 2 kids who are in bed by 8:00pm I'm getting more use from the Axe than my Mesa amps....which I sold. And I sold off my whole pedalboard as well. A full bore tube still can't be touched but I can get 95% there and do it at mouse fart volumes at 11:30pm without waking up the house, it just makes sense.

Dayum Bro!

Early Christmas to you! Nice scores on a couple killer pieces of gear.

The Anderson looks dead sexy. Love the Bengal burst.

The SC PRS has the PRS PAF style pups? Love those guitars.

Awesome looking Drop Top. Love it! The PRS looks great too. I know what you mean about the late night playing. I'll be honest, I play more than ever right now. Great time to be a guitar player with all of the great gear (tube amps, guitars, modelers/profilers, etc).

Wow. That's a whole lotta cool new stuff. Anderson looks great--as does the PRS.

Nice buys Danyeo!!

Gorgeous guitars, and good on ya for another go'round with the Axe. That's the thing about Axe-FX units, they simply keep re-entering our lives

The PRS has the 57/08 pickups, they sound good to me. It's called Solana Burst, makes me hungry for Dorito's or Cheeto's. The Anderson is called Desert Sunset. I had a PRS DGT before this SC58, I liked the DGT but wanted a hardtail. The DGT pickups are on the vintage side tonewise, If I ever got another DGT I'd replace the bridge humbucker. PRS is making some good stuff these days.

Congrats Dan!! NICE!!!

Congrats bro. I love the PRS! You are correct, the 57/08's are fantastic pickups. I recently got an SC245 and it is hands down the best guitar I have owned.

Never played any of the TAG line but hear great things about them.

Yeah, Anderson's and Suhr's are pretty flawless you just have to find one with the specs you want and hopefully it sounds good. I still like Les Paul's but I find the SC58 very comfortable and much better upper fret access than a Gibson. Whether or not it sounds like a LP doesn't matter to me since it just sounds good on it's own, it sounds like a great dual humbucker with a hardtail.
