Long story short, I sold my entire rig about 6 months ago and I've been wanting to rebuild it for a while.

I saw this Les Paul online and while I don't usually order guitars sight unseen, I couldn't resist.

This thing sounds wicked fat and everything feels perfect. I'm already planning on rewiring it to my liking and throwing In some different pickups. I'll also convert the bridge from Nashville to an ABR-1.

2004 Standard Plus Top.

Just out of personal curiosity why the change from Nashville to ABR-1?

I've always preferred the look and I have an old Faber ABR that I want to use on this one

Ok, if it sounds “wicked fat” why rewire and put in different pups?

The acoustic tone is fat. The bridge pickup is ass. The wiring is a rats nest.

It's a preference too.

Real nice find. I'll bet your glad you "took a chance" buying on-line! Look absolutely killer.
