Fuck yeah! Sounds awesome to me. Maiden never fails to impress. I love how all of the songs on the album are going to be so long. Amazing how they can keep writing great music after all these years. :rock:

EDIT: That little lead part at the very beginning of the song reminded anyone else of Wasted Years? The cover art also kinda reminds me of Somewhere In Time with the futuristic style.
 
Not bad. My favorite Maiden song is Seas Of Madness.

It's not the original artist Derek Riggs anymore....

I think it looks kinda lame too.... the essence of Eddie has been altered.... jeans and a hatchet! Betterer...

Im a huge Maiden fan. I saw them for the first time as an opening act for Priest in 1983 Screamning for vengance tour. I never thought I would say this, but I think it's time for them to retire. They just dont have it anymore. The last few albums have been horrible. This is the first time I have heard anything off the new album. I just hope its better than this song.

it's been all down hill since Piece Of Mind for me. they have a good tune here or there, but mostly the same tired shit over and over.

Same here only I love the Powerslave album too.
 
I love Maiden but this song...... need some more time with it.
 
This one sounds weak....last few CDs have had as many misses as hits for me...I dunno, maybe it'll grow on me.
 
I love old Maiden as much as the next guy, but I think every album since Brave New World has been amazing. BNW is actually my favorite album of theirs. I really like their new stuff. I have no doubts this will be a cool album. :rock:
 
Love the new tune! However, I dig everything they put out. Can't wait to see them on the 19th this month :rawk:
 
It pains me to say it, but I am in that camp of 'used to love them, now I'm just indifferent.' Somewhere In Time was their last album that I would say 'I love it.' There have been a few tunes here and there that I thought were cool, but for the most part, I think that they peaked long ago. It's not that I think they suck and should quit, I wish them continued success, but they just don't light a fire under my butt they way they used to.

And this is coming from a guy who had the biggest man-crush on Dave Murray from about 1982-1988. :gay:
