Great morning eye opener....sweet collection
Didnt notice the side armor Mesa cab in the corner before. Whats it loaded with?

It's a first year cab with a first year recto rackmount head on it... V30s. Sounds great but weighs two tons. Getting that up the stairs was a bitch, it's going to live and die in the mancave. :)

Pete
I hear ya on the poundage of side armored cabs. I had a straight Mesa w/ side armor, loaded with EV's.
Had to roll it end over end up the steps by myself once.

Cool. I would love to have an afternoon in that room

We should do an amp room swap like the TV show 'wife swap'. :D

My wife is pretty awesome, I have the mancave and the room next to it, so the smaller room will probably get some guitars hung in it. I'm doing some wall wiring tonight if my stuff from mouser comes in so I can use the amp room as a huge 'live' room and record from the second room.

When we were looking at houses last year, it came down to this one or one that had THE mancave... I mean, it was super-awesome. Had a wet bar, fridge, shower, was about twice the size (took up the entire second floor) had it's own seperate HVAC system, was basically a one room loft apartment. But, the house didn't have an inground pool (wife wanted one) and the rooms were smaller downstairs. So we compromised. Plus I've let her decorate/do whatever she wants with the rest of the house with my help - as long as I have the mancave/room next to it/garage to do as I will, then she can hang plates or have doilies or whatever the heck she wants with the rest of the house. :)

Cool! Sounds like you've got it good...takes an understanding women to put up with a musician.

I've got the whole unfinished basement here, my girl is good with that.
Gonna make a 20' by 16' soundproof music room (so me and the kids can rock out on the drums and whatever anytime), a workout room (with a sauna and a bathroom/shower) and another guest bedroom...the rest is storage to keep my garage empty for tools.
Sucks because I can't build yet though, it's new and I want all the dampness gone from the concrete....completed in 3 years.

I want a basement badly, but they are rare in oklahoma. since my mancave is the attic, It's going to be hotter than hell this summer. Looks like I'm putting in a window AC unit. :)

It'll keep the humidity down maybe too. I was in Tennessee a few weeks ago...you could cut the air with a knife.
