Looks like a cool amp. Just a single EL34......odd.

Single EL34 is why its cool. Although, on facebook its listed as EL84.

Wouldn't buy it personally but for the Slash fans out there, it's not a bad price point to get close to the AFD sound. Nice how it's two channels as well; it has the versatility factor.

I am a Slash fan, and to be honest, I would love to have that amp, but $700 is just not a good price point...sorry. I think I paid $800 for my Rivera Duarte. Granted, it was used and you really can't compare used and new pricing but it was used once for a session, and once for an in store demo, by Chris Duarte, himself. It also cost over 2k new and has a bazillion options and a ton more wattage. I couldn't really justify $700 for a 5 watt Marshall when the Class 5 is $399 and sounds phenomenal. True, this has 2 channels and is voiced differently, but is it worth twice as much? No. Otherwise, I would the first in line to buy one.

Cool that they included a Celestion v30 speaker instead of dumbing it down because it's a 5 watter like many companies do.

2 channels, 5watt/1watt switch, plate reverb. Should be a winner!

I'll probably get one, and there will be discounts at the online retailers for sure.

guitarhangar is an online retailer. Is there another price that I am not aware of? Musiciansfriend and Sweetwater don't typically price this shit much differently.

Nice to know. I figured this would be like the limited production low wattage series that came out recently that most of us couldn't get.

I hope not hahaha! If it is then I'm toast ,but if not, I'll hook you up!

Compared to how they priced the 50th Anniv. 1 watters, this isn't that bad of a price in Marshall dollars anyway.

Sounds cool so far. Uk made or Chinese? I hope it doesn't have the angled slanted faceplate like an old Marshall valve state. In one of the pics it is normal looking, in the others it has slanted control plate which makes it look ugly and cheap.
