I read this and I instantly knew whose channel the link was pointing to :D :D

Haha, yep....that damn German dork who won't shut up.

I find it really really hard (impossible I should say) to make through an entire video of him.
The guy obviously has very good connections with manufacturers and artists but man... it's really hard to sit through his desperate attempt at being funny when he clearly isn't.
Today I discovered he is also pretty good at guitar and the opening song was not bad at all... he should try to take it down a dozen of notches and simply accept the fact that he's not an entertaining guy.. let the guest talk, people are there watching because of the guests or the gears, not because of you.

end of rant

He does a video about his connections, he basically contacts the companies and asks to be compensated for his videos. If they don't compensate him, he wont do a demo of their products. If that guy contacted me and said that I would hang up on him. I would rather pay Pete Thorn and get a great demo of the product. He can play guitar, if I remember correctly, I think he went to Berklee for guitar?

Anyhow, Martin Miller is a great player. Both Martin Miller and Tom Quayle got new Ibanez signature models. Tom Quayle was endorsed by Suhr, then Fibenare. Rick Graham was endorsed by Suhr, ESP, and then decided to start playing Ibanez again because that what he always used to play and enjoyed playing the most. (Although, he has one of those rare bad ass Texas Specials that's basically a J Custom and also has the sweetest J Custom I have seen, it doesn't have the tree of life inlays) So, when he switched to playing his Ibanez, I thuink Ibanez began to endorse him? Rick Graham is in a league of his own. I saw him play an original on a Suhr Tele that was cool. But, the reason I watch his vids and Ricks Slick Licks is that his technical prowess is like nothing I have ever seen. Its astonishing, the skill level that he has hit.

The guy really rubs me the wrong way with his know it all/better than you attitude. I can't stand watching him which sucks because occasionally he'll get someone awesome on the show.

The guitar is very nice.
But who is Martin Miller?... or Tom Quayle

I won’t watch him, chapman, or any duo trying to act like chapman & the captain. The captain on his own is fine.

I will watch anything with Tom Quayle, just to watch him play

Welcome to the internet....pull up a chair and stay a while.

It's crazy that internet guitar players are getting signature models. I think both of these guys are amazing players, but I remember a time when a signature model was reserved for guitar heroes who ruled the airwaves and MTV. Anyway...

I dig that guitar a lot. And yeah, that dude is annoying.

A guy like Tom Q is an awesome player who just uses the internet to get exposure. He's also better than most of the guys who ruled the MTV airwaves. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Quite clever marketing by Ibanez I think. I think Suhr benefited hugely from having so many amazing guitar players playing Suhr on YT. Quayle, Rick Graham, Miller etc. We probably get more up-close exposure to guitar products on YT than we do with major performing artists. Oh the times they are a changin'.

Yeah, the other guy should stop trying to be funny. His videos are painful to watch.

It's bought him a cool home setup though! Check out the 360 degree video of his man cave!
