New Mastering EQ day! clips, pics, Sontec/GML Clone!

I've been after this EQ for some time, it has always been my favorite EQ on the planet. This Is a clone of a Sontec 250/GML 8200 style EQ. This is a kit, and there was only a few made by a genius named Igor Kapelivich. Igor is a legend in the pro audio world, however he has been dead for about 10 years unfortunately. If you do a search, you will see how revered the man is. This EQ was a kit of his, that was built/put together by Niels Kastor. Another audio genius, who builds studios, makes pro audio gear etc. I am not saying that right now he may be at 5150 studios with Wolfie doing some stuff, but maybe......Lucky for me, he is local to me down here in Orlando, and I scored this off a friend of Niels. These are extremely clean sounding EQ's, very transparent and uncolored: just the way I like it personally. It is a 2 channel mastering grade EQ, however it sounds amazing for everything. Tracking as well. This is a little clip I did of my Morin Marshall, one clip with the EQ out of the chain, one with it in. This isn't to say that I couldn't have gotten similar results with plugins, I am not even going to entertain that conversation. But what I CAN do with analog EQ, is get the sound I want much much faster: like in 10 percent of the time I've noticed. I will say though against plugins, nothing opens up the highs like this thing can in the plugin world. It really is fantastic.

Yea man this guy was insane! I know Lots of guys who swear by his stuff , just a total genius with his designs and builds. Im incredibly lucky to find something like this, they pop up about never! There should be a picture of it on my first post brotha.
