Don't think there's a thread on this yet....

Not bad, better than SC already. I like it, and it's cool to hear Kiko's lead work.

Blah. Sounds boring and forced. I miss the unique sounds and songwriting that Dave had back on Countdown and youthanasia. This sounds like it could have been a track off Endgame, which was an alright album, but very repitious. Not impressed. It started of GREAT, but then got into the usual type of riffs that Dave seems to spit out lately. Let me see how many different notes I can play I'm each measure of the verse. Again, blah. Just my opinion.Huge Megadeth fan though. I just haven't been impressed with anything Dave has done past Risk. Yes,,,,I said Risk :-)

was good till the vocals kicked in.

the msic and riffs are great.

the vocals just dont really mesh with the song imo

Intro way too long. Nothing grabs me. Huge MD fan since the early 80's

I'd say hang it up.

My thoughts also.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought it was killer...

I'm not much of a MD fan anymore, but I thought that was a pretty badass tune. Killer production and guitar tone. I really dug the vocals. He didn't sound like he's all constipated.

I really liked it, but I did find myself "drifting" off towards the end...probably more to do with how I was listening to it

While I haven't really liked anything they have done since "united abomination" (mainly because of Dave's struggling vocal delivery since his operation) Mustaine shows once again that when he's "on" no one can touch his riff/music writing...the guy is still a genius

I agree, kind of generic to me. Tons of riffs jammed in and too many words packed into the verses. Dave's lead playing sounds really good here but I agree, needs more kilo. Let's hope he rips it up on this album. What it really needs though, is Menza. That straight double bass is boring, needs those cool triplets and tidbits that he used to throw in.

I'm the only one that can't stand it it seems.

Yup. Sounds like Megadeth to me. We will never have another Peace Sells, but I think this is in line with what has been released since TSHF.

Some parts are great, but most is meh. Don't have sc or 13, wonder if either of those is worth picking up. Favorite album from megadeth in about the last 10 or so years is the system has failed.

I actually Like the KingMaker and super collider Broderick was great

Does that have Washington is Next on it? that's pretty much the last song from them I like. I'm a huge MD fan too. I have endless DVD's and all sorts of shit. I use to have a severe man crush on Dave. I'd make my wife sit in agony watching all the interviews with his aggressive manner. I got to have dinner with the band after a show a long time ago. I pretty much tapped out a long time ago with them though. I can't deal with 2 good songs an album after RIP. The riffs he's writing lately are lame and I think he's just trying to make cash at this point. Maybe the rest of the album will surprise me.

Some great stuff here
Not likin' the vocal production much though
