Hey Guys,
Been lurking on your property for the past few months, and finally got the time to sit down and say hello. So...a little about myself: My name is Don (Deathonastick.....Old moniker from Guitarwar around 2001 or so) and I have been playing for about 23 years give or take. 38 years old and am a total gearslut....Let's see if I can manage to load up a couple of rig pictures.
So if it works above:
The Marshall is a 76 JMP 50 Watt head thru a 71 4-12" with Rola Celestions.( yes the grillcloth was recovered before I got it)..The cabinet is apparently signed on the inside by Jim Marshall in pencil.....I don't really buy it, but it sure looks like his sig: You never know. The power tubes were changed and rebiased to run EL34's instead of the original 6550's
Mesa is a 1994 Trem-o-verb Dual Rec with KT77/6V6 power amp tube based setup by Bob at Eurotubes...not to far from here (I am in Portland Oregon) and matching 4-12 recto cab.
Rack is:
Furman PL-Plus series 2
Lexicon PCM-41
Lexicon PCM-80
Eventide H3000-d/sx
and more....(not ready for live use yet)....much more slutty gear to buy still....
Guitars include:
PRS Custom 24 10 top natural quilt
PRS 1988 Mahogany standard 24
1984 Gibson Flying V
1984 Yngwie scalloped neck strat
and more.........
I have a decent recording studio based on pro-tools digi 002 rack on a powermac g5...nice pre's and mics blah blah....My current project is a Prog Metal band with female vocals called InVellum. We are just developing our website and will have some downloads available pretty soon.
Thanks for entertaining my overly long hello
