New owner of BE-100 #352

Got a nice deal on a used 'mint' 'as new' condition Friedman BE-100 head!

Right now using it with a OS Bogner 2x12 w/ V30's. Sounds VERY killer!!

I am seriously considering 'upgrading' to the matching friedman 4x12 with GB / V30 mix.

Anyone out there that has made this jump have any feedback ??

Is it really worth it for the extra two greenbacks??

I run all my cabs with 25s and 30s. that's a great price for a 4x12 already loaded. I have the HBE head and cab and it sounds Great!

You can't go wrong with the Friedman cab. It is a perfect match for the BE100. I had a Marshall cab loaded with 4 greenbacks before getting the Friedman cab. I don't miss the Marshall cab at all.

I'd guess the Friedman cab would be great, as that's what he builds to express the amp's voice. That being said, the Bogner OS 2x12 is a killllllllllllllleeeer 2x12. Dunno if there is a way to upgrade from there...

It would be interesting to slide a set of V30's in the bottom and see if you like it "better"
