Is this a new Pink Taco revision? Anyone know what the toggle does?

If its like my Dirty Shirley mini the toggle is a gain cut switch gives three different stages works great

That makes sense.. thanks. So no clean channel just various gain stages? If it had a clean or simple clean I think I will have to sell my Pink Taco now ;)

Read that Dave's designed a PT with a clean channel to be called the "Runt"

I had a gain structure switch added to my BE early last year before the new ones came out with it. It's a fantastic addition to the amp. Makes it a lot more versatile. In fact, I almost never use my amp at full gain anymore...

Does this switch work the same as just turning the gain down? Or does it also actuate EQ changes as well?

I ask because it takes 5 seconds to just turn the gain down and the master up a bit to make up the volume loss. I figure the switch must do more.

Thanks

It does more. Changes the feel and openess of the amp. Definitely not the same as just turning the gain knob down...

One great setting is to be on the HBE channel and set the gain switch to the mid cut position. Great tone.
