New Preamp Day Kartakou Colossus

I just got a Kartakou Colossus Preamp. I ordered it in the middle of November and it just got here. Anyway I havent had a chance to plug it up but when I get home Im going to try it with the Powerstation.

On a side note they sent a European power cable. Can I just switch the power supply cable with a 2 pronged cable? Or will I have to buy an adapter for the plug itself?

I've never even heard of this, just checked it out on youtube and it sounds really good, interested to hear your thoughts on how it compares with the Orthos.

Will do! I just grabbed a power cable that will work with this power supply. I also have a KSR Ceres so Im going to try it against both of them when I get home. I will post back once I check it out.

I got to tinker with this today and I must say its pretty killer. I'm using it with my Fryette ps-2 and it sounds like a 5150 with a noise floor and clarity mod. The note definition is great and has a ton of usable gain. Im not using a boost or a noise gate with it at the moment. I prefer using the PS-2 with it over the power section of my Orthos which is suprising as thats the complete opposite of how I feel about the Ceres. Really awesome device.

The downside is Im pretty sure he builds these once you put the order in. I ordered mine mid November(it said in stock) I didnt receive it until yesterday.
