Something Peavey?

Edit: I'm thinking it's something Soldano now.

The preamp tubes accessible from the rear reminds me of the Triaxis, but the guts do not.

It's NOT a Boogie, a Soldano, a Bogner, a Marshall, a Hafler, a Rocktron or an Egnater.

Is it a Kasha?

I haven't seen a Kasha that has 5 tubes -- usually 4 or 7. The two toggles on the front are intriguing. The knobs are reminiscent of Rocktron. Carvin? Chandler? Something custom?

I'm not a tech type- but it does not have a toroidal transformer.

Doesn't it look semi Boutique with all the components laid out really perfect like that ? You rack guys should know this.....

How about a shot of the Front Panel ? Ha. (*Tommy Folkesson ? ) ( Quinn ? ) (Van Weeldin ?) ( Peters? )

OK - tell us what it is with a full Tone Report please.......... NOW.

*Just threw Folkesson in 'cause you're in Sweden but he uses some kind of mini output section so probably has more tubes and mini output transformer.

OK- we're ready ......you can tell us now.......hello .....

OK guys, its time for revealing the....

Gaywhore Preamp! :D

It was designed in the early 90's by Swedish guitarists Thomas Larsson and Anders "Bojen" Bojfeld who played with Glen Hughes on the 'Burning Japan Live' album.

Its a two channel preamp, channel 1 is lead and 2 is clean. The unusual part is there's a master EQ and no dedicated lead channel EQ.

According to legend, the two makers had nicknamed themselves the swedish equivalent to 'the gay' and 'the whore' so it was only natural that their offspring was named gaywhore
They also named their company 'Frenulum inc' :D
