Hey guys, so I just did a video review of my newly acquired Paul Reed Smith McCarty model guitar. This video is a little long winded, but I try and really put the guitar through its paces to see what it can do. To skip to the play-test portion, go to the 6:00 mark.

If you are under the impression that PRS guitars have no 'soul' or 'mojo', hopefully this will change your mind :).

As always, please subscribe!

Killer guitars. I just got a McCarty 58 and could not be happier!

Recently picked one up myself. Killer guitars. Anyone who thinks they have no soul just isn't doing it right.

***Update****

I'm still loving this axe. The wide-fat neck is so sweet! The guitar feels super solid as well. I'm so impressed with this guitar. PRS would be a killer endorsement to have!

The wide fat neck is awesome indeed, actually some of them are called Gibson - killers.
At the beginning I couldn't believe it but now i do.
Mojo and tone combined with beauty and playability.

Killer guitars
Not so hot on the stk pups, but with the right ones, its a tone machine
Nice score man!

I really like PRS guitars a lot, I have owned two Custom 22s, a McCarty from 2000, a 1994 CE-22 and a Santana SE.However, I always seem to come back to Les Pauls as being my home or main istrument. To me, once I have crossed over into the big, fat tone of a Les Paul, wit the balls of an P, I could never find a guitar to replace that for my tastes. I like having a CE-22 for variety, but for beefy humbucker rock tones, LPs are my top of the mountain. That said, I have a strange desire for another McCarty. They sound thinner and more midrange heavy, but they sit in a band mix well and are well made, play well and cut well. :)
When I had my 2000 McCarty and with 2 LPs, the McCarty spent too much time in the case.
I hope you play and enjoy this beauty.
Nice bro!
