Yeah I'm a tube snob, but I had an old Randall RG100 and HT100 that I loved back in the day but after 20 years of abuse they needed a cap job and other stuff. I always said if they could only make another S/S like the old ones I would definitely buy another.
By all accounts it sounds like they embraced the old construction design but with more gain and modern options. They say these are made all FET just like the old ones the YT clips sound pretty impressive. I can't really find anyone carrying these anywhere?
Are they re-releasing them at the upcoming NAMM or are they having Quality Control issues?
I bought a new randall in the late 90's and it was junk, I went through two of them they both had issues and I sent them back before my 30 days was up, never to buy again.
If the quality is back to where the old ones were I'll be picking one of these up for sure.
