Im just glad Jake is still plugging away making music. I really missed him when he was missing in action all those years. Cool song.

Using less gain on this go around. Sounds similar to the Badlands tone.

When I saw Jake on the first RDC tour, he was using a 5150III on the red channel.

Badass!! Man that was a great riff, cool looking guitar, and the solo was awesome!! Didn't expect too much but loved it once I watched!!

Awesome!
Great to see Jake still
Doing it! Badlands was one
Of my favorites!

Yep , he used the 5150lll head and cab for the tour. In the studio for the first RDC album he used his vintage amps

That was actually pretty good. Almost in the vein of a Badlands style riff, very cool I like it. Sounds like he is back to even less gain than he was using on Dusk. Solo sounds great he cut off his final ascending scale far too soon, damn it was getting good. Some good playing a riffing this time around I may actually buy it, I can only hope the other tunes get better than this one.

The singer still doesn't compare to Gillen but I don't think anyone ever will.

Yeah I'm not a Badlands fan at all.................................................... :D

Definitely not an EVH in that studio track. Way more expressive. Sounded like a good old Marshall to my ears.

sounds great thanks for sharing. good to see Jake rocking!

yeah it is really cool. Has so much more depth than the first record (because Jake is in control this time, not the former bass player)

The Intro/outro riff is very Sabbath...which is awesome. I'm sure some will jump on the "you could be mine" vocal melody thats in there, but what ever it works, and the song is pretty damn unique and "new"

Darren also sounds more comfortable here .... I like his voice and get tied of all the "oh he's no Ray" ... well he's not meant to be. The Band isn't Badlands and never will be thankfully because they were one of a kind and Jake is talented enough not to try and repeat it

That guitar (which he calls Patina as well) is awesome

I like that a lot. Good playing and the guitars sound great. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this CD.

Cool riff / the band's got some swing / cool guitar / nice production! I just wish it wasn't such a generic-styled "rock vocalist".

Thanks for posting!

Good tune, impressive vocals, production. I could definitely listen more to this!

You got that right! Ray Gillen is probably my alltime favorite rock/metal singer.
