New room

Since last Christmas I’ve been planning the room upgrade. 3 car garage. Better insulation. Better sound barriers with drywall, rugs and thick curtains. And a split unit ac/heat instead of the stupid window crap. With 60 amps of power vs the 20 before ?. Anyway. Pretty much done. Now it’s a party.
I got a fucking hernia which I needed operated; damn drywall is a bitch. Oh well it’s done and my hernia is fixed.

I can open them. But they are insulated to keep a tad more comfy. It’s nice.
I can turn the shit waaay up and keep my EarPods in and it reduces the dB but I can feel the air move.

Thanks guys. The room sounds good. Played the other day in it. Set up like a stage these pics are before most of band equipment is back (drums, keys, and bass). It’s funny how different it sounds in there now. Totally new room that I have to tweak a tad of eq.
Hernia is fixed a week and 1/2 ago. I told the anesthesiologist right before surgery… “listen, don’t jam that breathing tube trough my vocal cord so rough! I sing”. I saw that because I watch them do it all the time on my patients. Fuckers didn’t listen to me. Then they gave me a steroid shot to cover it up. Ehhh. I’m better but the only real thing that bothered was my throat. Hernia repair was easy. I had a black and blue wiener for a week. No pain.
