I posted a few weeks ago that my 2005 Schecter C1-Classic has had intonation problems from day 1.
I could never get it in perfect intonated tune, but it tunes just fine and plays great with great tone.
Contacted Schecter and they said something must be wrong with how it was built.
They said to send it in so they could look at it, and if it's a manufacturing error they would replace it with a new C1-Classic reissue.
Their tech said there is something wrong and labeled it a "3rd - unplayable" condition.
They ARE sending me a brand new reissue C1-Classic!
Schecter made good on their offer.
So I had to write this update, because, when a company really stands by their warranty and gives actual real customer service, then they deserve to be complimented.
So often forums are full of negatives and bad customer service experiences, but this time the service was awesome and exemplary.
Can't wait to try out the new one.
I just bought a new 2014 ESP E-II Eclipse, and it will be joined by a new guitar. 2 new additions to the family. Welcome home.
Kudo's to Schecter!
ROCK ON!
