Apparently it has auto biasing firmware in it, can toss any tube type in with no adjustment needed.

You can see the auto biasing led's in the back chassis shot, sort of looks "Engl-ish".

Thanks for the gut shots. I am surprise how much circuitry is in that amp, not surprised by the PCBs at all...

The Caswell mod had more going on then any one of us knew!

I'm not trying to be a snob, but that looks like the inside of a computer.

Very unSlash like imo. :aww: :aww:

It does look like a lot is going on inside that thing. I was really really hoping for an old school type Marshall amp. I'm looking forward to hearing one in person.

Assuming the Slash amp is like my 2553 Silver Jubilee, then it has a PCB too, although its much smaller on my 2553.... :D

I'm glad to see Santiagos newest quest come to life.
Santiago is the best thing to happen to Marshall in Decades!
The man is brilliant and designs amazing circuits.
I know some may not agree due to habitual thinking, but the JVM is the best amp design in the last 20-30 years to come out of Marshall.
I could care less if the inside had three Pigmy's farting on a hamster wheel.
You have to remember that these amps are designed to be mass marketed, and Santiago knows how to put the balls into a PCB amp.
It's just like the JVM, a modded JCM800 done with modern technology and practical construction.
And just like Steve Fryette, John Suhr and several other builders said, if anyone can plug in and tell the difference between a PTP and PCB amp built to the same specs, they can have the amps they built.
But not one person came to the challenge.
(just some gear page corksniffery from the past)
Bottom line is that I'm sure the amp is gonna rip your face off.
Add in the excellent engineering and you will have a killer Marshall there.
The JVM still kills 90% of the modded marshall designs out there that people pay thousands and thousands of dollars for, so I trust this amp will do the same on a much more simple platform.

What's really sad is that MARSHALL forgot how to design a MARSHALL amp, ever.

Somebody posted these pics on the Friedman forum here on RT.
Funny what Daves says about this amp.

I really don't know anything about this Santiago dude.

But yes Marshall definatelly forgot how to make a Marshall sound like a Marshall. Its pretty sad that their models have gotten worse as time went by...

The only thing I like about Marshall nowadays is their Logo which happens to be the one and only thing that hasn't changed in all these years...

I dislike Marshall a lot! I wish I could like them really... I think the only thing they have going for them is the past. They sat on the throne for so many years thinking their amps were the best. There was a time when they were but they forgot about their customers (Same happened to GM, Toyota flooded the US Market because GM could not and would not adapt their cars to the changning circumstances demanded by the general public, be it smaller engines, less fuel consumption etc etc)

At least they put a damn choke in it!
It's a dummy choke just like a dummy reissue. There's really just a resister in there.
