New Soundcity 412 SC cab vs VHT FB 412 ?

Just asking if anybody has gotten the new Soundcity SC cab yet? i caught up with latest Pete thorn video reviewing the Hiwatt amp and he has talked many about history of Hiwatt and cab or the original hiwatt with the ported back... i guess it should be special "ported" if it be sound wider larger wider dispersal on soundwave etc... and i quickly refer back to the soundcity which Steve Fryette himself being a Hiwatt nerd lol... i think the soundcity he recreates will make a better "Hiwatt" recreation...

so here is what it intrigued me if the new Soundcity 412 cab be having a tighter lowend and sound larger than the the VHT FB cab i be really into shipping one out .... the plus point of me being interested in it is maybe due to the ported back... if anybody has any idea whats supposed to yield? vs those cab design like "portcity" being front ported?

It looks like Stef Carpenter from Deftones is using them now, just noticed that the other day.

I have the SC Master Lead 50 halfstack - this is literally the best cab I've ever heard.

Not sure how it fares against a FB 4x12 but I do have a FB 2x12 (with the P50E's) and it's just no comparison haha

wow !! thats just beautiful !! ... is this SC412 a front load cab? care to elaborate more on what you find between ya FB212 vs SC412? besides if its wider in tone spectrum, more low, tighter low, more depth and complex mids making more "3D" sounding? and how does it handle gain?

It is rear loaded. It's far more "vintagey" sounding and just all around way more toneful. It's super warm and thick sounding, but also sounds amazing for high gain metal in my opinion.

The FB 2x12 is way more cold, clinical and modern sounding, and also ultra-directional. I also find it to be way more picky about what amp is plugged in to it, while in my experience the SC 4x12 sounds incredible no matter what I plug in to it.
