Can't wait for this. Dark roots was just an epic album, listening to it constantly.
Let's see if this thread attracts more action that the Metallica one

Back in 2003 I bought a guitar from chuck Billy.
He bought it directly from dimebag. It was one of dimes custom guitars that he used in concert.
Chuck told me he bought it for a keepsake.
He shipped it with the guitar strap that dime used. All duct taped up. Haha

Dark Roots was EPIC!!! At least they have been putting out outstanding music since the beginning and are actually better now than in the late 80s!!!

easy mEtallica have zillions of $$ and have also played thousands of more concerts than Testament so even though age wise they are similar ages Metallica the band is way older in terms of miles travelled
Dark Angel? Do you mean "Time Does Not Heal," or something more recent?rottingcorpse":xdu3ook9 said:Ooooohhh yeeeeaaaah!!
I dug the most recent anthrax, dark angel, and megadeth CDs.....can't wait for the testament follow up to their last one.

There first album was killer, as was new order and practice. Then when Cowboys from hell came out, i was all over that and felt Testaments sound was getting to melodic and softer so i neglected them a little. BUT when LOW hit, i got right back in and never looked back, every album after that has been stelar.
So my 2 least favorite albums where the ritual and souls of black. I enjoyed them though but not like the rest.

Agreed.
I listened to their early stuff and was really into that but then shifted gears and got into Death, Sepultura Obituary at that point. Dark roots was good stuff so I'm stoked to hear their upcoming album.
On a side note, just bought tickets to slayer, anthrax and death angelCan't wait! Slayer's stuff after seasons lost most of my interest, but its still slayer, and they always play a bunch of south of heaven, reign in blood, and seasons shit in their sets.
