Just get something, say, 4000IU+ with K2 added bro'; that should do ya.

Take 2 a day for a month or so then dial it back to 1, or if you still need it, stay at 2.

Yeah honestly have been taking more Omega 3 lately too and Multi Vit as I took these when I was younger. Didn't know the benefits of Vatamin D here and well for sure going to do an uptake in that and see my intake in general.

Vitamins are pretty good and they can promote health and something very simple anyone can do too. I like drinking teas from time to time as well. Regarding Vitamin D here is another informative report from NHK too on the subject. Pretty good stuff and yeah pretty amazing that a simple vitamin can do so much for ones health. Ima see if I have any around too after this.

Can still watch it on YouTube so no worries there.

I love NHK. Watched it heaps over the years. I especially like it when they explore master craftsmen and quirky Japanese traditions and "sports".

What people don't realize is that you need some healthy fats to absorb K2. Some of it is still absorbed without.

They think overdosing on vitamin D is what gave me multiple sclerosis. They prescribed me a heavy dose that was supposed to be temporary but I didn’t know and they never told me. They kept refilling it and I kept taking it. Finally got with an endocrinologist and she said I was overdosing on it and my d levels were horrendous. Plus you have to let your body flush it out….nothing they could give you at the time to lower it….

Can you remember what your daily dose was in IU brother?

I know for-sure that doses of near 1 000 000 IU have been tested and no toxicity / reactions were recorded.

Obviously that'd be ridiculous (and unaffordable) to continue and it'd prolly result in too-much calcium being absorbed, but I'm sure I've heard that many folks have been prescribed up to 30 000 IU for long periods without issue.

The "1 million IU" tests are what's critical here - no toxicity or negative reaction.

Maybe it was something else?

I actually had some around...... took some yesterday and taking some again tonight ^_^

When I had what I thought was a stroke back in November, it was found that I was severely Vit-D deficient. Doc prescribed me a 50,000 IU dose that I took once daily for 30 days, and I'm working on the second 50,000 IU dose 30 pill prescription that I take once a week now. I'm still taking a 1,000 IU supplement daily, along with a multi-vitamin. Since they could find no evidence of a stroke (either CT or MRI), I'm left to believe that the Vit-D deficiency was to blame.

I don't think the synthetic pills does much. Maybe elevates your levels as far as lab tests, but nothing much as far as improvements.
There's no replacement for SUNSHINE. And being stuck in a fucking office with glass that blocks the good UV light is most of the reason people are fucking sick as fuck all the time. SUNSHINE. Nothing else works quite like it.

That said, I just ordered this.

Nope vitamin D broseph. I have it on file. Remind me sometime and I’ll pull it up.

Look, I'm generally against synthetics but in some cases they work.

Just as we only absorb maybe 10% of "inorganic / rock" minerals (30% if they're chelated), I suspect that what happens with many synthetics is there's sufficient absorption and utilisation to make a difference; the rest is just wastage that ups the retail price of one's urine.

The very fact that the principal side-effect of overdosing on D is too much calcium absorption tells us all we need to know in this regard. We've "always" known that D aids calcium absorption, hence its prescription for osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.

Yeah...... Master Craftsmen is pretty cool and forgot about that and yeah they do have some nuggets of cool stuff like when foreigners go to Japan to visit and they give their impression of the country.

Some of my favorite ones were when they did specials on rural towns in Japan and just what people in smaller cities do and their traditions. Every city is kind of quirky and has their specialty or what they are known for and it's pretty fun and interesting to see what each city is about and people from those small towns.

Taking some Vitamin D3 in a Multi Vit pill, C and magnesium in seperate pills...... definitely feel it helps especially as there is a bug going around it doesn't hurt and good stuff ^_^

I have taken a1000 IU a day of vitamin D for the last 8 years or so. It's the only supplement I take because I was a bit deficient. I have to stay out of the sun and cover up because of skin cancers from copping to much sun when I was young.
