I have one of these for my DSL + rack gear. It is not nearly as strong or heavy duty as the rockhard, djkits, affordable, etc I had, but I sold the rest because this is lightweight. I can lift and carry it loaded by myself for 50 yards if I have to. It makes setup a breeze. I don't need wheels so I can just put it on top of my cab and can quickly tweak w/out having to bend down to my ankles just to turn up the volume knob.
Having said that, I wouldn't trust this case to protect my gear for shipping. Shit, I don't know how much protection it would provide if I dropped it a foot.
I bought one of their cases for a mixing board. I just wanted a case to protect knobs from being broken off the thing and the case did it's job. Depends on what you want out it.
Ive bought quite a few of their cases. They do make good cases , but most of the stuff they put on ebay is their bottom of the barrel stuff. Their Roadie series cases are just as good as anything else out there
I think the best deals right now are on used road cases, I have seen 20 space Kriz Krafts selling for a 150 dollars, just keep watching CraigsList and be ready to drive when the right one pops up.
We did an in-depth review of Calzone, Maxline, Rock Hard amp head/rack gear combo cases. The NY case isn't nearly as protective as the ones in our review, but like someone said before... he can carry it! All of these rigs need two people to move.
And if anyone wants to purchase the blue Calzone case from this review, sized for a Mesa/Boogie Road King II, send me a PM. It's sitting unused in our testing studio. Killer deal for you... but only for local pickup in northern NJ.
New York case has gone by several other names. Holbrook Case, Island Case, Hybrid Case. If I remember correctly they seemed to get negative feedback piled up on Ebay and they would change their name to get a clean slate.
I like Affordable Case myself.

I found for me that road cases are not worth the weight. When I was gigging, I carried the stuff in my car and I found a padded cover was fine. If I was gigging every weekend and loading my stuff in and out of a trailer, than I would get a road case for sure.
