New ss frets on a PRS. What a difference this makes in the feel, the tone is unreal considering I thought it may brighten some. A/b with a SC and its actually not as bright. Unreal at the quality of work. 6105 SS are killer

My Solar has SS frets and I used to be in the boat of that's something I don't have to have until I actually tried them. Now if I'm going to buy a new guitar it needs to have them. They seem to have a snappy attack to them that I love. I only have 3 guitars but my Solar S1.6 is the only one I play these days. I have another model on order with Evertune which I'm a bit apprehensive on. If I like it too much I will want it on my other guitars and if I don't like it I will have hated buying one with it. I'm excited to try it though SS frets, locking tuners, and evertune. I'm excited

That's cool, hope it is the tone/feel you bond with. I am seriously impressed how the new ss frets didnt change my guitar to a snappier tone. The luthier who did it is seriously talented. Had a device he created for re-frets that measured the tension thruought the neck, angle of the headstock and some other things he mentioned, I didn't listen so well as I was hypnotized by the look of the fret job, new frets are a tad taller and a tad narrower so I am sure this makes a for quality job. I'll get a picture of of it and a better explanation. Pretty damn impressive
